Travel Insurance

University contents insurance does not extend to participants’ personal belongings. You are also reminded that the University will not be liable for participants’ personal costs incurred in respect of travel, accommodation or booking fees, in the unlikely event that an unforeseeable emergency situation arises here on campus, which subsequently causes this event to be cancelled.

Therefore, if they have not already done so, we strongly recommend that participants protect themselves against such financial losses by immediately purchasing personal travel insurance in their country of residence, thereby ensuring total peace of mind during their journey to and from the United Kingdom and throughout their stay here on campus.

Most travel insurance policies provide additional protection for emergency medical treatment so it is important participants bring their travel insurance documents with them so they know exactly what to do in the event of a medical emergency.
